Chapter 1 : Gift of a Dwarf
Weed tells Hermann he’s going to leave Kureoso now. Hermann asks if he can’t just stay there and make sculptures.
Weed tells him that as a sculptor, he has to gather experience from traveling the world, and that since his purpose was achieved he is going to leave. Its revealed that at the end of his nogada, he recovered all 300+ art stats he lost from creating the elementals.
In the end he didn’t meet the sculpting master but he still managed to acquire the secret skill. Hermann is depressed since Weed will eventually remove his dwarf appearance and says as tradition he should come drinking with the dwarves.
Weed is the best sculptor there, but since he’s a sculptor instead of blacksmith, the top artisans befriend him and aren’t jealous.
Later on, 1,000 dwarves get together at Kureoso’s Square and have a drinking party. They party, and even though Weed gets really bored, he endures because everyone is giving him free gifts. While he’s pocketing the items, one of the dwarves asks him about his Wings of Light, and how they mysteriously disappeared.
Weed says it creates light and asks what happens to candles when they’re left alone too long, so the dwarves assume he simply turned off the lights. This shoddy reason was accepted only because they were all drunk.
They then start drinking more wine and eating wild boar. He meets Fabio face to face. After getting a gift he notices how he’s never drank this much before to the point that he’s got stat penalties.
Fabio, who is around mid 40s, thanks Weed for how Weed did the quest, since Fabio refused it when his daughter asked him to. He then asks what gift Weed wants. Weed picks the Chulryon Mantle.
Another high lvl blacksmith user has a different opinion of Weed and thinks how dare he ask for that.
Hermann then drunkenly gives Weed earrings that amplify attacks using mana, something worth approximately 30,000 gold. He then tries asking Weed to help him with his quest to make a sword but passes out in the middle.
When he wakes up later, he asks for dwarf Art Hand and gets pointed toward the exit. When drinking, Weed did not let his guard down and escaped with exquisite timing. Hermann whispers him about running out on the bill, the price was 3,500 gold per person. He manages to get Hermann to pay for him under an agreement that he will do something later in return.
Weed arrives at Iron Hand and has no intention of returning to Kereuso. We hear dwarves whispering about how there is an army out against the Resurrection Church, and that Damon’s bounty is at 600,000 gold.
This information is also on the Dark Gamer’s union site. Weed heads to the sculpting guild where the instructor is still chewing out the novices. They all think he failed and was there to give up the quest. They were inwardly gloating since they didn’t know it had been discovered yet.
Weed pulls out the statue of a bird freed from water, and tells the instructor it belonged to Kendelbereu. The newbies are in disbelief.
Weed understands its a living sculpture and that sculpting is a 3D art. He then gets black gloves from the instructor for completing the quest. The gloves give him +1 blacksmith and carving skills, +5% dexterity skill effect and +7% damage.
Weed gets another quest related to Kendelbereu, but he refuses saying he has to go on his adventure and that he already showed the dwarf’s superiority over humans and elves. He opts to leave it to other dwarves. Although he loses some intimacy, the instructor is still friendly with him. The instructor tells him to visit anytime

Chapter : Undiscovered Dungeon
Ahn Hyundo is holding a sword in real life. He sees the reflection of the blade and says “True terror and the desire for life will allow a person to truly learn the sword.”
He calls his personal assistant Yulminah and tells him he will start teaching the younger disciples how to use the real sword. He thinks of how using a fast sword won’t give you victory in the beginning, and how a heavy sword won’t give you victory without developing strength.
He considers young people today as weak. They fight a bit and he thinks the real test is to learn the sword.
At the pub at the school festival, Lee Hyun laments because he has to teach the other students how to cook as they ask him stupid questions. Since they are all accustomed to studying, he endures as they keep asking more stupid questions.
Seoyoon then picks up kimbap with her chopsticks and gestures for him to take a look. Lee Hyun is uneasy while Seoyoon is anxious as she nods. Lee Hyun analyzes all the ingredients.
After resolving his doubts on the ingredients, he eats the kimbap. Still filled with suspicion, he notes how good it is while glaring with explosive and murderous eyes. He then gives a thumbs up on the tastes and says its good and stay on course.
Seoyoon’s eyes seemed to smile a bit. The group makes plans on setting up the tents for the pub. The girls talk about what to wear and think of school uniforms. The guys all imagine Seoyoon in a school uniform and think jackpot. The girls have a discussion and decide on doing a wedding dress. They ask Seoyoon for permission. She wavers a bit before nodding.
The dungeon exploration is due before the festival so they all get together. Lee Hyun tries getting out of it by making excuses. He acts like Zephyr/Choe Jihun to try to get the girls to let him go, but he fails and is dragged along with them. When Weed is about to enter the capsule, he thinks of how he has to dispose of the accessories he got.
Weed scams more people in a place called Herom Star. Meanwhile, Hegel, the warrior part of the Heuksaja Guild, one of the strongest guilds, arrives to a party of 2 thieves, an enchanter, an elemental shaman and a ranger.
Hegel shows off his shield that he begged his brother to borrow. In the end they decide to go without Weed and say he can catch up later, and since he’s a sculptor, he wouldn’t help much anyway.
One of the thieves, Cyanide, and Hegel collect information and find an undiscovered dungeon. Hegel leaves a book with info for Weed in a tree before setting off.
Weed in the meantime makes 35,000 gold selling in Herom Star. Weed heads to an empty low lvl zone and begins flying with Shine Defect. Because he’s a dwarf, he gets severe penalties and can only fly at 26% max speed.
Weed could easily resolve the issue by turning off shape shifter sculpture, but he likes all the benefits of dwarves. Hegel and the other guys finally reached the entrance and enter the dungeon.

Chapter 3 : Book of Guild Las Strange
At the university, people are making preparations and calling to see if celebrities can come. Meanwhile Lynn Jeonghyo is playing the piano for her new album. She then tells her manager to free up her schedule for the next 3 days.
The manager asks for what. She says personal privacy. The manager respects that but asks for the destination at least. Lynn tells her Korea University. Someone she knows goes there, and she’s going to try to be friends.
Hegel and the group end up as the first discoverers of Keula Sorcerer’s dungeon and get the usual bonuses. They start battling and face off against a blind monster that’s lvl 234. They hunt for an hour and the enchanter lvls up once along with the collection of a lot of items. They are confident they can clear the dungeon.
Weed arrives at Dale Kingdom and looks through the booklet left behind by Hegel. Its information is spread over 8 chapters. The scene shifts back to Hegel and Cyanide beginning lunch while the others ask about the dungeon. They discuss about the possible depth of dungeons.
Hegel brags about how he won’t die since his armor is top class. Its really heavy but has defense that exceeds normal armors by 5-6 times. It costs way over 50,000 gold and also has magic resistance. On the 2nd floor they start encountering poison attacking monsters.
Since he was the only tank he was forced to intercept all the attacks which were basically spit. He wields his rupture mace that cost 6.8 million won. As a champion, he then uses the lvl 300+ skill earth wave that shocks the surrounding 7m radius area.
Although he lacked skill proficiency, it was still pretty strong, making everyone in awe of him. On the third floor they encounter a labyrinth and one of them activates a trap that causes the labyrinth to start crumbling around them.
When they make it to safety, the thief Cyanide informs them he has 3 things of bad news; very bad news, less bad news and unfortunate news. The less bad news is that the way they came is blocked.
The very bad news is the current area has a lot of pitfalls. The unfortunate news is only Weed can help them. They end up in despair, frustration, discouragement, and disappointment.
Hegel decides to move forward since there’s basically no other choice and that its not a big deal because the monsters that come out will be weak considering the monsters they faced so far.
Hegel starts moving and the rest inform him a bunch of spiders are all over his armor and he gets sealed in spider web. The party then notices a mamul/evil spirit has appeared; the elpin spider queen. The party resigns themselves to certain death, and say at least it was fun exploring.
Weed in the meantime is lost and can’t find the entrance. A group of several hundred monsters called roller spitters then show up and attack him with axes. Weed calls them exp and loot, then summons Van Hawk and uses moonlight sculpting blade along with seven celestial footsteps, producing afterimages since it ignores the laws of inertia.
He makes use of the skill to exploit the gaps in the battle and picks up japtem in between.
Reumi, one of the party members, then whispers Weed. He responds calmly while thinking of experience, skills, and items. She asks if he has entered the dungeon yet and after he tells her no, she warns him not to come since they fell into a trap and are waiting to die, and that he should just rest in the village.
Weed stops all of a sudden making Van Hawk wonder wtf is gonna happen now. Weed is reminded of his novice days and how their partnership came about. He then sees Van Hawk’s explosive attack, signifying that they were in different dimensions and that his movements could hardly be followed.
He’s basically pissed since Weed has to use his skill to make up for the difference between their basic abilities. He tells the monsters they are lucky and that he has to go now to deal with an urgent manner.
The monsters breaths sighs of relief, when suddenly Weed tells Van Hawk to keep hunting here and don’t forget to collect the japtem. Weed finally finds the dungeon entrance and enters without hesitation.

Chapter 4 : Demonstration of Ability
Weeds gets the message that the 2x bonus lasts for another 6 days and 11 hrs. He thinks how Cyanide probably suffered a lot to find this dungeon since he had to decipher the book. Weed thinks about thoroughly reading the book.
He then uses moonlight sculpting blade to hunt. He considers how normal people would use his Wings of Light here, where as Weed knows better. A second is all that is needed to end up dead, and using the Wings in his dwarf state is like being a drunk dwarf and the direction changing would also be dangerous.
Weed whispers Reumi on their status. She says they’re at 55% and will probably die in about 30 minutes. Weed turns his back on the entrance to the 2nd floor and says “then we have a free moment” before using his Wings to gather the japtem during high speed flight.
He stabs a monster a fatal blow for an additional 382% damage due to the speed bonus. He says he was lacking as a sculptor, and that he should have made the Wings earlier to make dungeon hunting faster.
Its said that it would be more situational, since flying in wide areas opens him up to arrow attacks and other disadvantages. Nevertheless, he still beats himself up for it. By flying in the air, Weed gets to avoid traps and eventually finds the rock trap Hegel and the others activated.
He notices the rock between him and the others is 10 meters thick. He thinks no choice because they would die if he went around. He then pulls out a sculpture of a girl laughing with adventurers and relentlessly twists it neck.
He activates destruction sculpture losing 5 art and 100 fame and puts the bonus stats into strength. As a muscular dwarf his figured surpassed barbarians with the exception of height.
Weed then rams his body and sword into the rock and his health decreases to 2/3rds. As a man, he resolves to do it again, this time without hesitation or he will be the one to suffer. He then accelerates to 30% maximum with the wings and uses moonlight sculpting blade this time to smash through.
Reumi is at 350 health and the group laments over their deaths when they hear the earth shake. They ask Reumi if she told Weed to come here, while wondering how a sculptor reached this area. Reumi whispers Weed again but gets no answer.
With the 2nd shock, Weed bursts through the rock and shows up flying in the air. He then cuts them out of the spider web. They are dumbstruck at the muscular dwarf with a long sword. They get ready to escape, but the passageway Weed just broke through gets blocked again by rolling boulders.
They ask him about the rocks and he says they’re probably because he activated a trap. They shout are you kidding me and ask why Weed even bothered coming. Weed ignores them and proceeds to collect the spider webs for silk.
When he’s about to put them into his backpack, spiders surrounds him so he murders them with his sword dance. He tells them to get out the way because he can’t afford to waste time. He avoided destroying the webs for silk and charges at the spider queen with its lvl ranging in the late 380s and 12 big legs.
Having used destruction sculpture, he spends his time in a hunting frenzy. The spider queens and her minions start fleeing but Weed chases the queen and spams kaiser sword at her underbelly using his single point attack arts. With kaiser sword, destruction sculpture and sword grind, he exhibited the full offensive power of sculpting.
Hegel and the others can only stare dumbfounded at his damage. As the spider queen dies, Weed loots his trophies as Hegel stutters. “He, he said sculptor.” Hegel sort of believes he’s a sculptor because he’s collecting sewing materials, but is still in disbelief since that active movement was real swordsmanship, not a skill that most users can use.
The narration talks about how experience shows and masters of fighting in reality are bound to show differences in hunting. Weed then bandages himself of with his mastered cold bandage skill and closes his eyes to meditate at 8% health.
The party is saying that he took way too much damage from the spider queen and without a priest to heal him, there is no way they can continue. Once Weed finishes his healing he starts heading for the shrine with the rest in tow.
Choe Jihun and Lee Hayan are on a date, approaching him to fix things. They weren’t a couple but were still in a pretty intimate relationship. While drinking strawberry milk, Hayan does impersonations. Lihun thinks how its the first time hes in love and asks what Hayan looks for in a man.
She responds 187 cm, 78 kg, nice ankles, slim yet muscular, hobbies include cooking and cleaning, 200 million salary and 28 yrs old. Jihun goes quiet and shes says its a joke, she just wants someone who can give her love.
Jihun gets tongue tied and thinks of his own attractiveness and skill with women and how the conditions didn’t apply to hayan. He had all those since birth but compared to Hayan was a pretty insignificant person.
Jeong Ilhun then shows up behind Hayan while looking for a present for Cha Eunhui. Hayan asks what’s wrong since his face darkens. He says nothing so Hayan tells him she’s going to leave since the lighting will be gone soon. He offers her a ride since he needs to escape from this place.
She says its only 5 bus stops and she won’t have to transfer. Jihun says by taxi then. She tells him save his money or is he even going to use a taxi to get home too. He can’t say anything since he was usually escorted in limos and what not since he was a kid.
They say their goodbyes and then Ilhun says in a loud voice run away or die. Ilhun drags Jihun to a park. Ilhun asks if he really likes Hayan which he says yes since he can’t deny his heart. Ilhun wants to see if he’s really serious, considering his past dating relationships.
Jihun says he loves her and for 10 mins explains that he thinks about her all the time and hears her voice in his sleep. Jihun then realizes how she’s different from those other women, about how not being able to see loved one hurts.
Ilhun puts his hand on his shoulder and says he accepts his resolve and tells him to start coming to the dojo every day. The practitioners put him through hell training and are both angry and jealous.
They asks if his love for Hayan is fake to which he says its real. They tell him its ok to run away. He just won’t leave the dojo then. They say they will catch him if he does.

Chapter 5 : Beauty of Snow White
On the second floor of Keula Sorcerers dungeon, they encounter monsters in the late 300s. It turns out if they went the normal way, they would have never met the spider queen. It was only because of Hegel that they ended up in that situation.
As Weed hunts, the others tell him to slow down. Weed ignores them and just gives Cyanide the mission of disabling traps while Weed handles all the monsters. As a thief that specializes in exploring dungeons and labyrinths, only dismantling traps was a funny thing for Cyanide.
Despite the crisis of the spider queen, due to nature of thieves that possess weak attack power he could only hide behind obstacles and use ambushes. In the end, if there was no support he couldn’t succeed. After barely escaping the rolling boulders they were submerged in a trap and without Weed they wouldn’t be alive.
Cyanide whispers to Weed that there is a group of 65 monsters and its quite dangerous before Weed tells him 3 mins and to get him another group when he’s done. Without any detours, the battle was short. When the monsters try to run Weed kills and collects the items.
Since 65 monsters was pushing it a bit, Weed summons Earth Expert and Angry Stone and destroys the monsters. Since they belonged to the same party, the other members were gaining exp like made compared to what they’re used to.
Hegel couldn’t believe the pace after reaching past lvl 200. Weed uses all his available skills to fight. The girls are in admiration while Hegel gets angry because his common sense can’t deal with it; after all, Weed clearly told them he’s a sculptor.
Eight hours ago, Hegel was talking to Heuksaja guild about how he found an undiscovered dungeon and that it would be fine since the monsters are around lvl 200ish. In the present, his guild asks him if he wants to go to Jeorep dungeon that they recently found.
He says as soon as he finishes the current dungeon exploration in a sort of annoyed voice. The number 3 of the guild dwarf warrior Bindel asks him if he is with his friends. Hegel tells him yes and how the other high lvl is a thief. He then explains Weed’s prowess.
Bindel asks if its a champion or warrior. Hegel says dwarf and Bindel tells him about weeds adventures in the cave and how he conducted the army. Bindel also informs Hegel of Weed’s proficiency in repair and cooking. Hegel thinks must be true since Bindel said it.
Meanwhile they continue hunting with Weed pushing the monsters down pitfalls and killing bosses. They finally complete the map of the dungeon. Everyone sits down and are relieved the dungeon hunt is finally over.
They explored the dungeons for over 5 days, making it over a day in the real world. The members think how horrible the hunt felt but at the same time the pleasure that came from hunting. They say their goodbyes when Weed starts walking away with his sword.
One of them asks him where he’s going. He says to hunt. Person tells him the dungeon exploration is finished and Weed responds with the 2x exp isn’t over. Person says its the middle of the day with Weed saying I don’t have school on saturday.
Another person says take care of his body and how he should rest and eat. He tells them he had already rested earlier, having slept 2 hours already. When the companions were taking a break and eating, Weed was sleeping. To play Royal Road he put his body through long term management
At Korea University, Lee Hyun felt loathsome at the moment. While controlling his sleep, he played Royal Road 12 hours a day; much less than other dark gamers. He managed to reach lvl 358. The festival felt like a prison to him.
Lee Hyun starts questioning about existence in a philosophical way. While Lee Hyun was preparing the food and ordering the other students to do dishes. Seoyoon and the other girls come out in wedding dresses. With light makeup, she shuts everyone up with her beauty. She goes and bows to Lee Hyun.
People praise her as a goddess while others envy her. Her wedding dress was also made by a world famous designer. Lee Hyun notices Seoyoon’s clear eyes and understands that it obviously means for him to take off her veil.
Chapter 6 : Slave Dating
15.6
The guests were told to wait for 10 mins. Since 15 mins passed after they entered, people did not know about the celebrity of Korea University: Seoyoon. Because of the visual impact of her beauty, guests ordered repeatedly.
Lee Hyun in the meantime didn’t want to do the cooking sloppily but he had to compromise on quality because of the quantity. Nevertheless, the guests were still satisfied because they just stared at Seoyoon while eating and drinking.
While she walked around she gave off a lemon fragrance because of the special perfume for the day. Seoyoon handed guests the menus while standing there silently waiting for their orders.
The clients kept ordering new things and the kitchen got backed up because the other students couldn’t cook. Lee Hyun analyzes the margin needed to break even to be 700,000 won. Since he was earning money it felt rewarding in a sense. He considered it business experience for the future.
On the third day of the festival Lee Hyun gets time off to look around. While walking someone drags him as a volunteer to the slavery auction. He received number 23, the people before him all tried singing and dancing so he didn’t know what to show off as his talent.
He chooses to peel an apple quickly in one go producing that ribbon skin. Since he didn’t actually move a lot, they weren’t that impressed. The people before him get sold for a over 10,000 won. They start him at 10 won. An aunt with children felt pity and bid 20 won.
Hayan bids 30 won and it increases by very little to 390 won. Lynn Jeonghyo (Hwaryeong) then appears and bids 2 million won. Everyone was surprised by her and Lee Hyun is awarded to her.
She says “slave, arm.” and gets Lee Hyun to hook his arm around hers. Lynn asks Lee Hyun to show her around. He says he doesn’t know the festival very well. He tries to get her to just walk around with somebody else.
She asks if she should return slave, an explicit threat of return. Lee Hyun has no choice because no one would bid 2 million won again. Lee Hyun says he will show her around. She tells him thats the spirit and its revealed she knows how to deal with Lee Hyun after being acquainted: blackmail is best.
Meanwhile the onlookers keep thinking its a mismatch and how lucky Lee Hyun is. Lee Hyun thinks about how in his 22 years of life, the only female contact he’s had was his sister. Lynn then asks if he wants to play whack-a-mole. Lee Hyun obviously refuses.
Lynn ignores him and says its 2,000 won, making Lee Hyun pull out the bills from his pocket. Lee Hyun misses 12 on his first try. He blames Lynn holding his arm. She tells him to try again and lets go. He misses only 3 the next time.
Meanwhile, Lynn stealthily grabs Lee Hyun’s hand. They go doll shooting next. Lynn misses while Lee Hyun analyzes the weight and the correct method of shooting. He gets a sparrow doll with the intention of giving it to his sister for her birthday present but Lynn takes the doll and asks if he’s giving it to her. Her eyes were sparkling in a way which didn’t allow him to refuse. He gives it to her which leads to her embracing it as something valuable.
They go on the merry-go-round, watch a theater play, and go to the rooftop to watch the festival at night. Lee Hyun brings her to a small stage with a piano. She decides to sing a song while playing with the piano with one hand because she didn’t want to let go. she sings Dialogue of Eyes, her debut song at age 16 that made her a worldwide star. The audience starts to grow as she sings. Lynn didn’t look at the piano but instead watched Lee hyun sitting next to her with her obsidian eyes shining as she sang.

Chapter 7 : Blacksmith’s Questions
In Royal Road Weed reminisces on how there’s a distinct difference between rich and poor. He says kids growing up while drinking white milk will never be the same as those drinking strawberry milk. It was his heartfelt theory on strawberry milk.
A flashback to the 4th day of the festival occurs. The seniors tell Seoyoon to enjoy the festival, 90% of the pub came to see her but the seniors gave her freedom. They tell her to participate in the festival and asks who she wants to go with.
She looks reflexively at Lee Hyun and he gives a broad smile while refusing. He planned to finish early and access Royal Road. The military veterans call his name with a certain subtlety.
They say it doesn’t sound possible but Seoyoon wants him to guide her through the festival. In the end he can’t refuse and begrudgingly says he can show her around while the seniors and guests all say they envy him.
She changes from the wedding dress to light clothes but its still beautiful enough to make the men drop their jaws. After getting past all the men who couldn’t believe their eyes, he grabs Seoyoon’s hand and says shall we. He believed unlike Lynn that Seoyoon would never be the first to hold hands.
Courage as a man and the numerous hands in the festival crowd. For those reasons he didn’t miss this chance. He feels her hand is soft, tender and surprisingly warm. Seoyoon’s body felt stiff for a bit but got over it quickly. Lee Hyun then asks what she wants. Lee Hyun takes her to whack a mole because Lynn seemed to like it.
The people at mole avenue were extremely resentful and jealous towards Lee Hyun. They say it wasn’t enough to bring Lynn yesterday, he also brought Seoyoon today. Moreover his changing behavior to match his partner was an abomination. Yesterday, he was shy when Lynn was grabbing hold of his arm but today he was actively holding Seoyoon’s hand. They call him the player of players.
Under Lee Hyun’s advice they played whack a mole together. While holding Lee Hyun’s hand Seoyoon didn’t miss a single mole but she felt heartbroken every time she hit a mole. The staff say how unfair the world is because of a handsome face or limitless money like Lee Hyun.
They ask what kind of appeal does that ordinary guy has. With yesterday’s experience Lee Hyun gets a carrot and kiwi doll from the shooting game. He gives the carrot doll to Seoyoon as a gift, he says the other is a gift for his sister so only take one.
Seoyoon firmly held the doll in her hands. since it was the last day Lee Hyun took her around till evening. Strangely when they came back to the hall, Seoyoon was smiling with a red face. Lee Hyun led her through the crowd in a complicated trail. He then asks if she wants to dance.
With her face red she nods since its a couple’s dance. Lee Hyun grabs her hand and brought her closer. They danced and moved their bodies naturally to the music. The dance was just them avoiding each others feet since they didn’t know how to do anything else.
Weed says the accursed festival is over and he can return to his daily routine. It says he gotten side effects from drinking since as a dwarf, beer affects him more. He thinks how his body will return to normal when he turns off shape shifter sculpture.
The advantages and disadvantages of different races are revealed; dwarves have stamina and endurance, but short limbs makes them slightly adverse to combat; barbarians are the zenith of physical strength, great for champions, but they don’t use mana and are weak to seduction magic; humans are neutral, allowing them to complement gaps in all parties.
Orcs, elves, fairies and hobgoblins are spotlighted as special races but the most common are humans. They also occupy the largest area in the center of the continent and possess the most influence.
According to whispers, Damon and his army are heading over to Ohdein Fortress. Prosperity Guild was collecting more mercenaries and 2 other countries allied with them, forming an army of 100,000 to mount a full scale war against the Resurrection Church. Meanwhile, Weed pulls out the reward from Death Hand. He hopes its not a quest related to the Resurrection Army.
He thinks how the battle against Death Hand was pretty hard and that if he didn’t have light sculpting he wasn’t confident that something made of stone or wood would win. The Resurrection Army first appeared near Mora and the symbol was revealed, that same symbol was on this sculpture.
He thinks how the quest might make him fight the Resurrection Army thats facing the 100,000 allied troops and has a dark look on how it might be such an impossible quest. With his face as a dwarf, it only added to the miserable expression. With this an employee at the pub goes up to him and says someone has sent weed a glass of beer. Weed humbly accepts and gives handshake as thanks.
Weed looks back on his quests that formed bonds with death knight Van Hawk and vampire Tori, the battle against Lich Shire and becoming lord of Mora. How if he didn’t hunt in Lavias for Herrera’s Cup he wouldn’t have information to up his rank as a dark gamer.
Then about how he abandoned the weapons master class to stay as sculptor. Sculptors gain fame faster than others but acquiring hidden skills was extremely difficult; therefore he didn’t want to avoid any referral. He starts spamming identification and after failing a few times, he gets an F-rank quest to return the toy to a boy named Brave in Hagen Village of the Kingdom of Sur for candy and if he fails he gets notoriety for stealing a kid’s toy. He resigns himself to doing the quest and heads off to Hagen Village.
The village specializes in baking with a bunch of sweets and “cockroach couples” as depicted by Weed. He finds Brave after some time and waits for the candy since he can sell to the shop for 3 copper.
Brave says he’s too old to play with toys now and says he isn’t gonna give Weed the candy. He then refers Weed to the drunken smith of the town. Its another F rank quest pissing off Weed and leading him to use shape shifter sculpture into the orc Karichwi.
When he enters the pub everyone gets scared but he deactivates it when the smith asks if he took it from the kid. He then gets the D rank quest “smith’s questions” involving him going to the library to look stuff up in exchange for the smiths stories as a mercenary.

Chapter 8 : Reconstruction of Niflheim Empire
In the library, Weed looks over information about the count of Savoy. Then a librarian brings him the books related to sculpting. While looking over the titles, he sees on odd one named Ancient Sculptures. He learns information on the Matalroseu Church.
The symbol of the believers isn’t a flag with patterns but a sculpture. The priests of the church have strong divine power over the souls. After the birth of common language, the church prided itself on the name of their god. However, sometimes it is referred to as the Resurrection Church.
Because their research was close to death, the reputation of their symbols wasn’t very good so the sculptures were believed to be hidden. The sacred sculptures of the Matalroseu are different from ordinary sculptures. After that, Weed decides to return to the pub since he got what he needed from the library. He tells the smith the sculpture is the symbol of the Matalroseu Church. The smith starts talking bout his mercenary adventures story.
For Weed, it goes in one ear and out the other. The smith finally gets to the main point about a locked basement in the castle of a count where he found the sculpture. He asks Weed to solve the question of the spirits in the sculptures he saw there.
The smith then pulls out a rusty key and weed gets an A rank quest to unlock the secrets of the basement of Count Savoy. The quest also states its connected to the long awaited desire of the Matalroseu which is the reconstruction of Niflheim Empire. Its sculptor only and requires the smith to be alive.
Weed recalls how in Mora, Niflheim Empire existed a few decades ago. The dragon of darkness led to them using the serbian witch’s beads to seal and freeze the whole north. The empire collapsed from the cold. If it was reconstructed it would occur in the same north. Weed wasn’t too surprised about the quest being related to the Church of Resurrection since they originally appeared in the north and the Resurrection Church was originally known as the Matalroseu.
He accepts the quest and heads to the mansion of Count Savoy. Monsters from the 150s to 200s roamed there with the highest being 282, many parties are hunting there, with the smith bugging Weed for more drinks. Weed quickly rejects since his drinks were a luxury.
In addition to being expensive, they were favorites to go with his cooking skills and the geomchis loved them. Weed asks the smith for the location he says he can’t remember and maybe if he drank a bottle right now it would jog his memory.
Weed calls him a useless drunk and after calculating how long it would take for him to search for it, he gives him a bottle in exchange for pointing to the location of the basement. Behind the bottom of the stairs Weed finds the door and REPLACEs the key.
When they enter, Weed quickly assesses all the items he can take and sell. He reads about the origin of the Matalroseu. In ancient times, it was the largest religion. Death was sacred to people and Bridge Kingdom embraced it as their official religion. Over the years, the perception of the church changed. To reduce tribal wars and bring about peace they focused on building a castle to prevent monster invasion. During this time, Bridge Kingdom grew frightened of the Matalroseu and began avoiding them. After the unification war of the Ahreupen Empire, the religions were all fighting for followers in their respective kingdoms. The Matalroseu denomination was respected during times of war and they were renown as leaders of death. In the peace, their name disgusted the people. The aspiring priests of Matalroseu decreased in number and in its place were other religions like Freya and Breycos. Having lost their prestige, many kingdoms abandoned their support leading them into hiding while building up power. They amass the power of a strong deity in hopes of revenge. With this, Weed understands that the count of Savoy is a priest of the Resurrection Church. The smith then finds a statue. Weed takes out the sculpture he got from Death Hand and puts it on the statue which opens the black gates to the western rivers.
Every user on the Versailles Continent then gets the message that the wailing river quest is in progress and depending on the success or failure it will affect the Resurrection Army. Weed approaches the gate when the smith stops him. He asks if he would have to follow to solve his request. Weed says of course so the smith gives the follow condition that weed has to take him drinking 5 times a year.
The smith then says he has to recruit mercenaries because he’s a fragile sculptor. Weed says he alone is fine but the smith makes him bring at least one mercenary. Weed whispers Pale that he needs one mercenary.
Pale tells them that almost all of them are in the north and nowhere near the center of the continent with the exception of Mapan, who was headed to Rosenheim Kingdom.
Weed gave up since Mapan is useless. If Pale came Maylon would cry. Irene would be useful but as a priest she would have to be looked after.
In that sense, Romuna was in a similar situation. He also couldn’t burden young, weak minded Surka with a difficult quest all alone for several days. Hwaryeong’s dance skill could put monsters to sleep but the decisive damage was weak making it risky.
It was useful in general hunting, but in a gritty battle you don’t know what could happen. Zephyr was excluded in the first place, even though he has strong vitality and wide area attack skills. Weed says because he’s trying to be friendly with his sister, Weed erased the presence of Zephyr from his mind.
He thinks how can he be the brother to a playboy, it can’t be real and the sky is falling. As a brother, his eyes saw everything. His sister’s behavior and changed attitude lay in his mind. He felt the broken heart of a father when his daughter wore a short skirt on a date with her boyfriend.
Weed says all men are wolves and thieves and how he wants to kill all guilty men. He states that they obviously deserve to die or he will kill them himself. He also states he could never take Yurin with him.
Weed then whispers Geomchi. After a bit, Geomchi replies in a panicked manner and when asked what he’s doing he says he is definitely not talking to dark elves. He’s still in the Yuroki Mountains so Weed just tells him dark elves also like flowers, and leaves it at that.
Weed thought about the Wilderness Traveler’s guild but since they didn’t know each other that well he couldn’t. Pale then whispers if he wants to bring along a shaman, and explains how she has high skill mastery, is the most famous shaman in mora, been super helpful in party hunting, and since he was talking about Weed she said she wanted to see him.
Weed gets reminded of his novice days hunting in Lavias with a shaman. He thinks how her name, Da’in, was unforgettable to him and how she is his ideal woman. It was hard to say specifically which part, but it was just enjoyable being together.
He remembers how she said she had surgery and he hopes she’s doing well even though she hasn’t contacted him. He shakes off his memories of the past and says its too dangerous for shamans, shamans are basically a priest like professions that are great help in parties so he couldn’t keep her for himself.
He says his apologies. Pale says not to worry and it can’t be helped. Weed then thinks of Hegel but knows he would quickly bring it up to his Heuksaja guild and the rumor would quickly spread.
He thinks of Cyanides but figures thieves are useless outside of dungeons. The general stereotypes for thieves and assassins are vulnerability. The quest needs mercenaries so stealth classes weren’t suitable.
He thinks how the strongest person he knows is Seoyoon. He knows that as a berserker she is strong against monsters with her high lvl and quick skill utilization and that she grows stronger the longer she fights.
She would be the most reassuring but Weed shakes his head. A little trust in Seoyoon sprouted, but to him their relationship wasn’t close enough for him to ask her to help him with a dangerous quest. Moreover he doesn’t know where she is and how long it would take her to get here.
With this Weed summons Van Hawk and says if he owns a death knight he doesn’t need a mercenary. The smith accepts it and asks for a drink. Weed pulls out a couple bottles of beer as they enter the black gate.
Elsewhere, monster carcasses are scattered. Whenever Seoyoon swings her sword monsters fall into debris. While killing the monsters she thinks they’re too weak. It describes her aggro characteristic as a berserker and how shes in the high lvl hunting ground known as Mabanui forest.
She thinks nobody loves her, and says how she fights to forget but it comes now and then hurting her heart. She then thinks about friends warming her heart. Because of the long adventure in Royal Road she was able to meet him in reality. She says she wants to meet him in her mind.
Quickly dying from the dragon’s breath, she felt how fragile Weed was and hunted for experience and built up skill proficiency to meet him. She is currently lvl 422. She goes off in search of a place with stronger monsters.

Chapter 9 : Sculptor of Hell
When Weed and company exit the black gate, they hear a bunch of cries and see a bunch of sculptures eerie enough to be called carvings of the devil. He sees a child having beheaded his mother, a female with an orc as a child, trolls poking each other with spears, humans at war, arson and looting at a village.
Sculptures likes these spread out endlessly along the river. Weed frowned at the sculpture of traders slicing into steak while leaving skinny kids alone. The children were seen as slaves and eating barley bread at best.
He then says if he didn’t have money he would starve to death, yet they hav barley bread. What kind of good treatment is that? The sculpture evoked 100% of Weed’s sympathy for the traders because he thinks about how the slaves are lucky to hav met those unscrupulous traders.
While walking down the river Weed and the smith talk about how art moves peoples feelings. They then arrive at the entrance of hell, the river of mourning, the end of the continent where living life is extinguished, the place where the dead are led by the Matalroseu leaders to hell.
The smith just shrugs and extorts another bottle from Weed making him sigh since he has to wander around with a drunk. The atmosphere reminds him of Todeum, an eerie non human feeling. Weed then sees creepy sculptures; a cute girl spitting on a frog, muscular women playing football (american soccer) with an ogre head.
Weed examines the sculptures with identification and sees its 0 artistic value that creates grudge and anger in ogres and that it was deliberately made this way. On the second day of exploring the mourning river, Weed finds the temple of the Matalroseu Church.
He summons Van Hawk to scout for him and finds out that the temple is empty. He explores inside but only find clothes buried there.
On the third day, far from the temple he spots 100 priests and dark knights. Weed moans that its the Embinyu Church and recalls fighting the dragon and the Embinyu only with the help of the expedition, Seoyoon, and Alveron. Weed’s face looks seriously bad as he says the Embinyu are meddling again.
He knows the Embinyu were responsible for the fall of the Niflheim Empire and sees that they’re doing something unusual again. He hides his body and sees, following the priests and dark knights, 1,000 mamul.
He understands their mighty power and that they’re doing an unusual ritual involving the sacrifice of lamb and deer. The river’s flow reverses directions and rocks are blown 10 meters into the air. Weed tells Van Hawk to guard the smith at their location.
The smith says hell no he’s going to help and that he can’t leave reconnaissance to a sculptor. Weed had to surrender his remaining whiskey. Weed sneaks up a rocky outcrop and listens to the conversations the wind brings him.
The Embinyu have taken advantage of sculptures to shake the Versailles Continent. He waits another hour to find some more information only to come up empty. He returns to Van Hawk and the smith and pulls out the sculpture he got from Death Hand.
The sculpture was now crying and Weed uses identification again. He hears an elderly voice explain that the Matalroseu’s history. Having lost their power to the other religions they teamed up with the Embinyu with dreams of revenge.
The Embinyu were a bunch that only worshipped the power of mamul and offered their help since the Matalroseu had gone astray. Weed then gets a quest to purify the river of mourning that is the source of their mamul’s power.
It tells him to change the sculptures of the west river basin but destroying them will bring him to the attention of dark knights. Its a chain quest that will connect to the destruction of the 11th Embinyu sect and the rescue of the Matalroseu prisoners. Its limited to sculptors.
The reward is the record of sculpting accomplishments, rising affinity with all churches except Embinyu and a title of honor. If the allied forces of Versailles are wiped out by the Embinyu and Resurrection Church the quest automatically gets canceled, or vice versa.
Weed’s eyes shine since the quest series started with Death Hand’s sculpture. Since it involved the Embinyu the quest was a starting point for gamblers. Weed accepts.
At the river, the weakest monsters are in the late 300s. Weed and Van Hawk murder them all and Weed gets started on sculpting. Weed went to work on the mother with a child in her arms beheaded by an orc. Weed changes the mother’s face to a happy one that wants her child to eat her I think.
Weed starts carving a sculpture to use as a mount because his desire for items and experience won’t let him leave the monsters alone. He recalls riding a horse as a skeleton knight and how it amplifies knights attacks by 3-4 times.
He thinks of the bonus power of mounts and how he doesn’t need to carve a horse since even though they are fast they have a weak endurance and get easily scared. Weed decides to carve a cattle; a strong and muscular bull.
He minimizes unnecessary muscles and optimizes strength and endurance. He puts a lot of beef on the thighs, a big butt and bent eyes due to his deep-rooted prejudice about cows. He names it Rover and remarks how its the perfect cow.
In Rover’s description its revealed that this is Weed’s first historical sculpture. Weed acts appreciative towards cows and then grants life to the sculpture losing 6 art stats and 1 lvl.
Rover cries out “eunmeoooo” as Weed calls his name. With innocent eyes, Rover confirms his name and says how it isn’t a good name and that it should be stronger, given his strength. Weed says its a good name so Rover says he doesn’t like master, since he had the property of loyalty Weed was dumbfounded.
Rover openly tells Weed his plan of grazing in a large pasture, meeting sweet cows and having kids in peace, a dream of free grazing. Weed shakes his head and says they’re going monster hunting. Rover was reluctant so Weed asks him if he thinks freedom is so easily obtained and if he has money.
Rover says no so Weed continues and asks does he have a wide grassland. Rover, of course, says no so Weed then says no money and no land does he think pretty cows will like him. Rover is silent at that, Weed finishes it off with how if he’s make his children spend their lives eating weeds and that they need something full of nutrients like hay.
Weed tells him about the bitter society of cows. With this, Rover’s momentum is broken and he becomes docile. Weed says he needs money to live and that’s why he needs to hunt monsters. With this, Rover was persuaded, one of the reasons being Weed was his master.
When Rover looks at the back of his body he was dissatisfied because his torso was completely muscular but on his side was flab. He asks Weed what’s there and Weed tells him its ribeye.
Rover complained by digging his hind legs into the ground. Weed tells him in a low voice since hes not showing him respect he will have to end him. Rover can only hm. Weed continues saying he’s going to start dragging him around by the nose tomorrow.
Rover is silent. Weed then asks if he wants to have a field day on a farm or if he wants to clear the wasteland. Rover is still silent. Weed says yum yum and asks if Rover doesn’t know cattle goes into miso soup and that raw beef is fine too.
Rover asks how can he say such cruel things. Weed tells him man won’t even leave behind the marrow in the oxtail. Weed threatened Rover for 3 days and 2 nights. Somewhere along the way Rover secretly bowed in obedience; this determined Rover’s fate.
Weed felt Rover alone was not enough, so he made light sculptures of huge giant flaming birds. When using light sculpting its difficult to make small forms. Although technically it had the penalty of not being fully detailed because of the size, it wasn’t a great masterpiece but it wasn’t that bad.
In particular, they had a characteristic of reviving to 50% maximum health and mana when their health was reduced to zero as long as there were small flames left. Strength was important to Weed but the persistence of life was even more precious. Pieces of life had to grow together in families. He says phoenix sounds good and makes a total of 5 of them. He calls the last one phoenix brother 5.

Chapter 10 : Sculptor Bull Riding
The black sword mercenaries are confident in their power and regarded as one of the best. But, along with the prosperity guild and guild alliance, they are in big trouble against the mamul army. An epidemic then spreads and they point out Damon who has gotten the nickname of satanic lord.
At some company they are discussing how much of Unicorn’s stock they have purchased and how its the most expensive stock in the world. There’s also a bunch of companies that have bought stock with hostile intentions and to interfere with management. The director of the company heads home after saying to his colleagues that he’s going to Royal Road. The jobs of the company directors are all traders.
Rover cries out while running as he has been plowing all day long and is tired. Weed simply tells hims to ride while wearing all his best equipment: the black demon sword of kolderim, talkrokeui faith armor, vampire cape, boots, and the ancient shield. Weed tells Rover to go faster and he can only reply that he’s at his maximum. They charge at Kereus.
Allies of the Embinyu mistake Weed for an Embinyu knight momentarily. They use lightning and Rover barely dodges with the ground struck blowing up and shooting rocks everywhere.
Weed tells Rover to continue and Rover says its scary and his body doesn’t seem fit to fight. The innocent cattle said something unbecoming of battle, instead of complimenting him though, Weed uses strong intimidation for motivation.
He says if Rover is afraid to ride towards them then marbled beef, raw beef, rib soup, shabu shabu, oxtail soup and a few more. Rover charges forward at those words.
The enemies launch lightning strike again and Weed blocks with his shield. Weed slashes the enemies with moonlight sculpting blade as Rover passes by them. Rover goes zig zag.
The biggest weakness of horses are that they can’t dodge ranged attacks since they charge in straight lines. Rover is different, smoothly changing his direction without big recoil.
Near the end of the battle Weed tells Rover to finish one of them off. Rover says he doesn’t want to engage in such nasty behavior. He was still reluctant to battle. Weed on the other hand knew how to properly use the carrot and the stick.
An atmosphere composed of only fear and intimidation would result in backlash even from loyal cattle. Weed says if he finishes he will get 1 copper and if he thoroughly kills it he will get 2 coppers; an incentive to battle.
To Rover, 1 copper was an outrageous amount of money. Rover thinks of what 1 copper can do, a handful of nutritious hay or overpriced cold water. If he can save up 10 copper he can buy land. Even with a land full of weeds, he can plant.
Rovers hope in life was to collect 10 gold and buy a shabby barn; the dream of home ownership. Rover accelerated energetically and the impact launched the enemy 10 meters away.
Weed then collects his items and japtem and verifies his income. He gets massive hostility toward the mamul scattered along the river. When animals drink the water from the river they change into mamul.
Weed then calls the 5 phoenix brothers to fight. The fog is quickly evaporated and they attack. They have almost infinite life due to their regeneration, and even when their life significantly declines, they can be revived right before they die.
Weed starts laughing while watching the pieces of life fight because when they get stronger, he will get more items and japtem.

Chapter 11 : Sculptures Built on the River of Mourning
Weed’s carving knife is heard again as he changes the sculptures from negative to positive. He changes the head of the mother of the orc to an absolutely peaceful orc’s face. He finishes purifying one of the statues for the quest.
The purification of the mourning river is still at -100% though. Weed then proceeds to remove the spears from the trolls sculpture. After 10 days of changing sculptures, the purification level still didn’t decrease. Weed decides he has to recover his levels, so he repairs 13 sculptures every day and leads Rover and the 5 phoenix brothers to battle.
The level of the monsters, particularly black wild boars, jumped significantly close but not yet reaching lvl 400. Weed orders the phoenixes to hunt left to right and to be careful not to dissolve the japtem. Using many handy ways to manage the phoenixes, like training undisciplined military recruits.
Depending on how successful they were it would have enormous impact on their lives. Thanks to the hierarchy of sculptures, after being born shortly after Rover, there was no need for seperate mental training. Watching Rover, the phoenixes realized their master was a dirty person and that they were unlucky. Thanks to their exceptional intelligence, they became compliant.
As they fight, Weed uses moonlight sculpting blade, lvling his swordsmanship rapidly. After repairing 260 sculptures the purification increases to -98%. He had been hunting for a week already in real time so he starts thinking about what to do. He decides on observing the sculptures to figure out how to repair and takes a break every hour to repair.
This way let him repair 17 a day. Later he took advantage of clay to repair 45 a day as the incarnation of nogada, but he still only purified the river by 11%. Weed thinks what if he makes a sculpture here instead.
He makes 20 orcs eating rice out of clay, and the purification goes to -82%. Weed screams about the workaround method of overshadowing the other sculptures. He carves a massacre of bunch of species slain smiling while being rich with warehouses piled with money, weapons, and food lowering purification by -3%.
The moans of the river also decreased. In the west river basin, nobles and military persecuted people by putting the father into the guillotine, whipping the mother, and tying the children and dragging them through the battlefield.
Weed makes new piece with the royal family, nobles, and soldiers being whipped by young children toward the guillotine, a peaceful and elegant sculpture. Such extreme sculptures brought great joy to those who lived under unjust rule, a humerous and satirical sculpture with the children killing the nobles and soldiers.
For his 43rd statue he makes a great king weeping, this sculpture also purifys the river to 0%. Weed made 2 fine pieces, 17 magnums and a bunch of miscellaneous pieces. Weed changed the easily repaired sculptures and the rest were newly created.
Thanks to this, he purified the river within a week. He gets 20 intimacy with all churches and 300 contribution. After gaining back the lvls lost, he also gained an additional 2 more, ending up at lvl 360.
Weed pulls out the sickle talon sculpture again and gets an A rank quest to interfere with the Embinyu ritual at the mourning river. The guardian knights of the Matalroseu will help in his mission. The quest will continue with the rescue of the Matalroseu prisoners, the ruins of the 11th Embinyu tribe, and the cherished desire of the Matalroseu.
The reward is the relic of the Matalroseu Church. If he’s defeated by the Embinyu all quests will be discontinued. Weed accepts the quest with his eyes shining toward the reward. Weed gets an army of 100 ghost guardian knights.
Weed leaves the phoenix brothers and the guardian knights behind as he goes scouting with Rover. He sees the priests and dark knights confused were thrown into carnage as the ritual of carnage was interrupted.
The 1,000 mamul all looked weakened which leads Weed to confirming the effect of purifying the river. He sneaks closer to a priest near a coffin with a blood-red skull painted on and listens in on conversations. He anxiously watches the priests sacrifice more animals, but the river continues to flow peacefully.
They talk about how the mamul have weakened and they can ask the Matalroseu prisoners after they bring them back. Weed follows them for 2 hours to a splendid fortress made of gold and precious stones in a different dimension from the temple he saw earlier.
One of the priests orders a group to defend it. Weed thinks how he only has a few days at most before they return. He returns back with Rover and gathers the army. He orders 60 guardian knights to attack in unison against the 500 mamul and the priests and dark knights.
It seemed like a crazy plan but since the guardian knights are ghosts, they won’t die from common methods. The guardian knights then breakthrough the 500 mamul and 30 dark knights and aim for the priests as commanded by Weed.
The priests buff up the dark knights and they block the guardian knights, the mamul then proceed to surround them. Weed raises his hand as the command for the phoenixes to breathe fire on the dark knights and mamul.
The priests then attack the phoenixes with the spells death arrow and water blaster. The phoenixes dodge and Weed yells now at the right timing, signaling the 40 guardian knights above the phoenixes to jump down.
Weed starts killing the weakened mamul with Rover as the phoenixes take over the sky spouting fire at the mamul. Since the mamul all gathered in one place, they all caught on fire. Through the fire Weed and the guardian knights slaughter the 20 priests.
Weed uses yell and orders the guardian knights to leave the mamul and encircle the dark knights and not let one pass by. He was confident that without the priests, the phoenixes alone could win. Weed then thinks he won’t let any prey pass.
The phoenixes were a bit weak after wrapping the mamul and dark knights with wide flame attacks. Weed walks through the fire and summons Angry Stone and Earth Expert. He only uses the elementals to protect him because even with the infinite intimacy, he has insufficient mana to sustain them.
He uses the elementals to split the earth where he walks and spread the fire away from him. He arrives at the Embinyu ritual location and greedily picks up the items. He gets the Matalroseu relics copperplate of perception and the cane of promise.
While his army is finishing up the mobs, Weed eats a baked apple and drinks juice. He completes the quest stopping the ritual. The head of the 11th Embinyu tribe will try to get revenge for this humiliation. He should not get caught by the Embinyu and to resist them or he will have to revive the promised alliance. Weed merely sighs after completing since the quests will still continue.
Weed thinks how he needs to get farther away and that he wanted to go exploring with Rover and the phoenixes after finishing the ritual interruption quest. He calculated that if the phoenixes lose health too fast it will be dangerous and that he can run away on Rover.
Weed says worst case scenario he has to save Rover. Rover cries out in appreciation with innocent teary eyes.
Rover then says even though he’s been bad the master was gonna sacrifice himself to save him. Rover was touched but Weed coldly finished his calculations. If Rover dies, Weed would be the unfortunate one.
He would take huge damage if he had to create another sculpture and give life again. Weed, of course, plans to throw Van Hawk to die before him. Weed tells Rover to rest assured.
Weed, Rover, and the phoenixes move beyond the mourning river to the plains. Weed sees a large group of monsters wandering around and turns away while wondering what is here. The smith wakes up from his sleep on Rover behind Weed.
Weed thinks of it as another reason to salvage Rover. He has an exploration strategy as the smith drinks while looking around. While talking with him he learns that originally the smith really was a great mercenary.
Without fairly good skills he wouldn’t have been able to adventure as mercenary in Versailles continent. But now the former mercenary was a drunk. However, he has still been a great help with his sound knowledge on monsters, terrain, and traps.
He also stood sentry while Weed created sculptures. His swordsmanship was reduced considerably but he was still observant and identified the minute habits of monsters. His ability to distinguish decent drinking water was excellent. In summary, he was a lot of help.
The smith then looked around and said carefully that its too dangerous since the monsters are too high lvl and that, even with the phoenixes and Rover protecting him, it wasn’t a place for sculptors. While hunting, the smith was drinking while being escorted by Van Hawk so he still underestimated Weed.
Weed listens to his words anyway, and decides to go back. The purpose was just to identify and explore the terrain, going too far away from the mourning river was extremely dangerous so they had to go back.
Then something flying in the sky was coming to them. Seemingly piercing the sky in a straight line, a monster flew majestically. The monster roars and the monsters on the land convulsed. Even beast like monsters far away were crucified to the ground scared.
Weed says its a boss class monster as he watches the monster in the sky grow bigger to the size of his palm. The size keeps growing to 100 meters. With its approach, cold chills quickly spread.
The smith’s face went white as he stutters “ice dragon, ice dragon!” Even the phoenixes escorting Weed felt threatened enough to scatter. The smith screams to run away. Even at the smith’s urging Weed just stood still, squinting his eyes to look at the ice dragon’s appearance which seems very familiar.
The monster’s roars break Rover’s determination and make phoenixes’ wings collapse. The ice dragon’s eyes look over to Rover and Weed, then it says in my area how dare you, before suddenly stopping.
The ice dragon’s eyes slightly spasmed, then it looked at Weed’s eyes. It unfolded its wings and quickly flapped.
The ice dragon rapidly accelerated with unbelievable agility into a semicircle as it tried to quickly go back in the direction it came from. Weed involuntarily asks is he Bingryong.
The ice dragon’s body in the air appeared to have a big shock. Weed says you’re Bingryong right. He replies absolutely not. He shakes its head and flaps his wings hard, the behavior of someone that desperately wanted to escape.
Despite that because he couldn’t accelerate immediately after he got caught. Weed says 500 million won if he takes flight at once. The ice dragon’s wings stopped and it stayed afloat with a i don’t know what to do attitude. Weed asks if he wants to see the wyverns and that Wy3 asked for him.
Bingryong goes Wy3 and asks is Wy3 doing well master? Weed then says see I knew it, you are Bingryong. Bingryong goes silent after that.
