As soon as Van Hawk is summoned, he basically says "Weed, I'm ridiculously strong now, so I'm not going to listen to weaklings like you so return me to the original time at once." Weed beats the crap out of him for the purpose of exerting dominance.
Van Hawk uses full power to attack Weed, but Weed blocks Van's sword with his hands. Apparently, Torido has already been summoned before Van and was beaten silly (even though vol 35 only mentioned Van Hawk being summoned).
The TV broadcast companies are continuing with the broadcast of Weed's adventure and quest. As always, many praises followed with some people hoping that he'd fail, but everyone began cheering for him as soon as the quest info that Weed has to destroy Embinu and the Chaos Dragon.
After the summonings, Weed's conquest over the main continent resumed. Mapon and Baener Kingdoms joined forces after Weed's actions. They gather an army of 600 000 soldiers (each and everyone of them the best the two countries can offer --> elites). Weed also strengthened his army with the Abyss Knight and Torido. Abyss Knight can have up to 100 000 soldiers at his command, and skeletons receiving training from him can become either death knights or be as strong as death knights (the person didn't make it clear). Torido makes about 600 vampires.
Weed sends the Fire Lizard King's hide and horn to a blacksmith to turn them into armour and weapon.
Weed gives 40 000 soldiers to "oh-so-very-lucky" Hestiguh (who didn't die regardless of Weed's attempt to send her into difficult battles in hopes of her death) in order to disperse the enemy army of 600 000 soldiers into a thinner line. The battle begins around Johnnas Castle.
Weed runs into the enemy army all alone and starts massacring. Even after a long period of time, he still has 39% of his life left, but uses the Great Natural Disaster Sculpting skill when he starts feeling like it's getting slightly dangerous. The skill's level reaches a point where he can input two effects at once. This time it was "thick darkness and fear" and "contagious disease". When he used this, all the foot soldiers of the enemy army began attacking each other (only exceptions were the mages and knights). 100 000 of the enemy's army is destroyed and the battle continues with more fierceness and negative emotions towards each side. As soon as the darkness lifts, Weed charges towards a group of enemy mages next to him. A wind master mage uses a ridiculously strong skill, but Weed uses his "Life Force of Phoenix" skill that he acquired when he was a "Warrior of the Sun" class. This skill lets Weed be invincible for 3 minutes as long as the skill is performed under a sun (like clear day time). So Weed thinks that watching this ridiculous wind magic is like watching a washing machine going for a spin.
Van Hawk is challenged by a Master Swordsman from Mapon kingdom, but Van Hawk wins. This person adds in his thoughts by saying "Wonder if Van would totally own Weed when they return to the original time."
Watching all this, Weed is thinking "I have to do something for some achievement and build merit." He sets out to fight, but his subordinates have captured all the important figures in the enemy army. When the enemy is retreating, they meet another army. Weed is thinking "Okay! Good. Reinforcements of the enemy. I can fight again!" The new army turns out to be Hestiguh's army that Weed sent out before hand. The war ends and they prepare to fight the Church of Embinu. Weed messages the other churches (ex. Freya, Artlock, Hestia, etc.) that he's received a blessing from the gods/goddesses. He proves it by showing his skills that he acquired from the gods/goddesses. Also, Zahab (whom Weed thought to be dead) and Zahab's 100 disciples join Weed's force as well.
In present time, the northern region is shown from the eyes of Python (character mentioned in vol 1). It can't even be described as a giant expansion and development of the northern region anymore. It's on a much larger scale than that now. The Great Structural Buildings are not even run by the kingdom funds anymore, but by smaller regions now. Of these Great Structural Buildings, there are six from just the Great Bridge category alone. Turns out that while Weed was away doing this quest, Geumin (golden person sculpture reanimated character made by Weed) invested a lot of the tax money into kingdom development.
Seoyoon's father makes appearance in the book from time to time too. He wanted to live somewhere close to Seoyoon, so he went into looking for a how near her house. He told the real estate agencies that he's looking into the neighbourhood and that he is willing to pay up to 10 000 000 000 won (10 million dollars since 10 won is approximate to 1 cent) for a place. The lowest value for Korean currency is 1 won as 1 cent is in Canada and States. They don't have decimal values in their currency. Anyways, this makes the real estate agency to go crazy.
Mapan and Gamong begins developing romantic feelings towards each other.
The Fire Lizard King's hide armour and horn sword comes out. Their options are... *silence* (this is a deliberate silence from the person who posted this so I'm assuming the armour and the sword are some ridiculously buffed godly equipments.)
At the end, the battle between Embinu begins. Embinu opens the hell's gates and it is said that they can summon infinite number of lesser demons (I believe Montus, the demon from Rodrick's Labyrinth, was also a lesser demon) before the Great Qitch Patchet is sacrificed. If they are given more time, they'd be able to summon greater demons. Therefore, Weed charges alone again. At this sight, Mapon and Baener Kingdoms rejoice thinking that the barbarians (Weed and his desert tribe warriors) and Embinu are out to destroy each other; however, Weed climbs the tower of the two kingdom's stronghold and yells, "The Church of Embinu, fight us if you dare! We, Mapon Kingdom and Baener Kingdom - the protectors of Justice - have been waiting for this day to fight you!"
The two kingdoms, who were jumping in joy at the thought of barbarians and evil Embinu killing each other, are dumbfound.
Poster's thought: "Isn't the northern region becoming too developed?? The atmosphere of northern region almost feels like it'd win even if the northern region went out on a full out war against the entirety of the central continent."
